Though I know that musicians generally like to talk about equipment for hours and hours and hours…please let me put it in a nutshell here. During the past 20 years I have tried a lot of different equipment produced by several market leading and product innovating companies.
I found out that referring to acoustic drums Drum Workshop works best for me – they cost much, no doubt about that – but DW offers an outstanding quality of craftmanship and sound. In matters of electronic drums Roland V-Drums still are the measure of all things. Please trust me, folks. Having played on V-Drums once you are never going to consider buying any other electronic drums.
